2025 Round Up...

A July - December Update

🌟 A New Face, A Huge Impact – Welcome Ashley!

Ashley joined the salon this year and what an addition she has been.

From day one, she brought a bundle of energy, positivity and warmth into the salon. Clients absolutely adore her, and she has slotted into the team like she’s always been part of it.

Watching her confidence grow and seeing how quickly she built relationships with our clients has been so special. She truly embodies the KHB culture — professional, passionate and full of good vibes.

💍 Love Was in the Air – Cat Got Married!

2025 was also a huge personal milestone for our beautiful Cat.

She got engaged and married this year, and we were all there to celebrate her big day. It was such a special moment to share together outside of the salon — lots of happy tears, laughter and dancing.

Moments like this remind us that we’re more than just colleagues. We’re a team that genuinely supports and celebrates each other’s lives beyond work.

🏆 UK Top 50 – Hair & Beauty Awards 2025

One of the biggest highlights of our year was attending the Hair & Beauty Awards in Birmingham.

We were absolutely thrilled to place in the UK Top 50 for Best Salon and Best Salon Team.

To be recognised on a national level alongside so many incredible salons was such an honour. We pour so much into our training, our culture and our client experience, so this recognition meant the world.

It’s proof that hard work, consistency and a strong team really do pay off.

👶 A Very On-Brand Arrival – Welcome Baby Daisy

Last year I welcomed our third baby, beautiful Daisy, into the world.

And in true salon-owner fashion… Aidan was driving me to the hospital in labour while paying the team’s wages between contractions.

Would not let the girls down!

Balancing motherhood and running a growing, award-winning salon hasn’t always been easy — but it’s something I’m incredibly proud of.

đź’› Protecting Work-Life Balance

This year we also made an important decision for the team.

In September, we closed the salon on Mondays and introduced late night Wednesdays instead.

This means when the girls finish at 3pm on a Saturday, they don’t return until Tuesday — giving them a proper break and more balance.

As a salon owner, creating a business that supports my team’s wellbeing is just as important as growth. A happy team equals a better client experience — and that’s something we’ll always prioritise

Monday: CLOSED

Tuesday: 9am - 8pm

Wednesday: 9am - 8pm

Thursday: 9am - 8pm

Friday: 9am - 5pm

Saturday: 9am - 3pm

Sunday: CLOSED

🎄 Our First Ever KHB Event – Baubles & Bingo

@ Penicuik Rugby Club

December brought something completely new for us…

We launched our first ever KHB Baubles & Bingo Night — and what a night it was!

Held at Penicuik Rugby Club, we celebrated with clients, friends and family, and raised over ÂŁ300 for Cash for Kids.

It was the perfect way to round off the year — laughter, community spirit and giving back.

Safe to say… this might become an annual tradition.

đź’« Ending 2025 With Gratitude

When I look back at this year, I don’t just see achievements.

I see:

  • A team that supports each other

  • Clients who continue to choose and trust us

  • Growth that feels aligned

  • A culture we’re proud of

Kirsty Hamilton Beauty isn’t just a salon. It’s a space built on standards, support and strong women lifting each other up.
