nail extensions

We have a wide range of colours available for you to choose from, from The Gel Bottle Inc, you will easily be able to change your colour at every nail appointment, not to mention the glitters, foils and Swarovski crystals we have that you may want to experiment with…

GEL EXTENSIONS WITH GEL POLISH:

Our most popular option: This is a process that involves hard gel being built on top of tips applied to the natural nail and cured with UV light, finished with a gel polish of your choice and cuticle oil. Infills needed between 3-4 weeks, quite often our clients let their natural nail grow under these and then move onto the ‘Hard Gel Overlay’ (info can be found in our manicure section)

APRES GEL EXTENSIONS WITH GEL POLISH:

Apres Gel-X nail extensions are a lot thinner, more malleable and best of all more natural-looking than traditional extensions. These are finished off with a gel polish of your choice and need to be soaked off and re-applied every 3-4 weeks.

ACRYLIC EXTENSIONS WITH GEL POLISH:

These are made out of a monomer liquid mixed with a polymer powder to form a paste that is glued onto your natural nail and tip. They are finished off with a gel polish of your choice and cuticle oil.

PATTERNS/NAIL ART/ CRYSTALS:

If you would like a specific pattern or design, please add the additional time to your booking so you are not disappointed if we do not have time to carry out your design.

NAIL REMOVAL AND STRENGTHEN:

We will professionally and safely remove your nails for you, finishing with a nail strengthener and cuticle oil to rehydrate the nails. Note: picking/peeling any nails off will damage your natural nail and leave your nails weak and brittle.

faq:

GEL VS ACRYLIC?

They usually look very similar, although gel tips may feel lighter on the nails.

  • The process of using gel is quicker and there are no strong odours.

  • Gel comes in a pot and looks thick like honey, acrylic is a powder.

  • Acrylics tend to be harder than gel, which also means less flexibility. They also tend to be more damaging to the nail, especially as it requires more difficulty in removing it with soaking in acetone and buffing off.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I BOOK INFILLS?

This can depend on each client and how their nails grow, we would always recommend to book infills every 3 weeks as you will have a noticeable growth by this point and they will start to lift around the cuticles, leaving your nails any longer may result in loosing some of your tips and being charged extra at your infill appointment.

However we have some clients who are brilliant with their nails and have infills every four or some even five weeks.
